Today just before the announcement the wwtelescope.com is on-line. I guessed right. See my previous post and today’s post by Robert Scoble on the topic.

Dan Farber also thinks it is the WorldWide Telescope

What will Microsoft show to the World on February 27th?
I start to think reading and combining various data pieces that perhaps ”The WorldWide Telescope” (after 6 years) , will bring the Universe to a PC near you. What I mean by that is a Microsoft Virtual Earth like apllication that will show you the Universe from your PC. Lets check wwtelescope.com on the 27th and see if I guessed right.
