ebuddy is nr 7 on the most searched words on Google in 2007. Just to test what happens to the traffic on this blog I linked http://tinyurl.com/ebuddy to this blog. Now lets wait……

TinyURL adds Custom alias

You can now customize your TinyURL’s like this: http://tinyurl.com/taletn . It can create trademark problems. You can also point generic names to your site like this http://tinyurl.com/pricelist. It almost creates a new domain name business. Claim your name for free.

Twingly

Twingly works but it seems to be very beta. The “Testing Twingly” done 5 minutes ago is shown as 2 hours ago. The following info is in the widget:

2 uren geleden Broerse Blog
But it is shown on the Telegraaf site as:

You can’t click on the “Broerse Blog” part because it is not shown. This can be a implementation error by the Telegraaf or just some problem in the widget code. It will for sure do no good in getting link love from the Telegraaf.

I saw this:

Buy your own Relakks service called SecureIX

The Relakks like service called SecureIX is for sale:

You will need one very basic Dual P4 server per 128-256 premium customers.
You will need about 75 mbits avg. per 256 premium customers.
Income potential is limitless.
Nearly 200,000 people have visited our site and signed up for some level of service.

It seems to me that Relakks is doing better than SecureIX even when their payment system is down again now. Perhaps the problem is that SecureIX provides Free PPTP VPN accounts for users and Relakks doesn’t. This probably means that Relakks has far less customers but because they all are paying customers the Relakks business-model seems more solid to me. Don’t let this keep you from buying SecureIX. You can always dump the free accounts.
